We don’t get easily excited by new mobile games here at InstaBlogs, but the next game we are about to review is a special one. If you’re a huge fan of strategy games, Terminator Genisys: Future War has the potential to turn into a classic game that will be remembered for years to come.
The game comes from Plarium, the name behind incredible games such as Throne: Kingdom of War and Vikings: War of Clans. While Future War is yet to be available on Google Play Store, we caught an exclusive sneak preview of Future War and were instantly dazzled.
Choose Your Side
The story of the game is set right after the events in the movie; after Skynet is taken offline and Genisys is destroyed. Mankind is still fighting a war against the machines and factions are forming across the world. You get to choose which side you’re on and the decisions you make will define the future.
On one side, there’s the Resistance. You can assume the role of a Resistance Commander and lead humanity into battle. On the other side, the machines are waiting to be commanded with you as the leader of the Skynet Core. Regardless of which side you choose, you have one definitive goal – to build a strong force and win the future war.
The way the story of this game is laid out brings endless possibilities for future missions and hours of gameplay to enjoy. It’s an MMO Strategy Game
On the surface, you have a classic strategy game that’s very addictive to play. Whether you’re leading the Resistance or taking over the secondary protocol of Skynet’s Core, you can strengthen your base, build factories and create weapons and machineries. You have complete freedom over how to collect and use resources to achieve your goals.
Once you have built a strong army, you can launch them into battle. This is where the fun begins. There are a lot of solo quests to conquer, providing endless fun and challenges to overcome. You get rewards and bonus points from these quests, including achievements that will unlock awesome rewards.
You can also attack other players in PvP mode. The game is set so that players can form factions (or clans), launch attacks and have real-time strategy battles like never before. It is a truly massive, multiplayer, online strategy game that will keep you glued to your phone for hours; it kept us playing for so long that we nearly missed the deadline for this post.
Great Graphics
What’s special about Future War is the way it wraps good gameplay and hours of playability into a gorgeous user interface. The graphics are eye-popping. It brings back memories from the days of Command & Conquer, but with detail and quality to admire.
The PvE battles are far from boring thanks to a smarter AI and the aforementioned graphics. Fighting against fellow players and joining clan raids is also very thrilling. The game has a fast pace that will keep players on edge and you have to be ready for everything to stay ahead. We believe it will be even more challenging once the game goes live and stronger forces or clans are assembled.
It is safe to say that Terminator Genisys: Future War will be a big hit, especially among strategy fans. Pre-register so that you can start building a strong force as soon as the game officially launches.
