Under the new rules of Information and Broadcasting Ministry, forty-eight foreign magazines/journals will now start its edition in India. Currently, according to the existing guidelines, the foreign newspapers/magazines/journals have not been allowed to publish from India.
The Information and Broadcasting Minister P R Dasmunshi has said this when replying to a question in lok sabha.
