The U.S. economy is sinking, is it time to say “Goodbye U.S. dollar, Hello North American Union AMERO”?

It’s all about “money.”

The North American Union is a hypothesized union between Mexico, The United States, and Canada. It is claimed this once mythical union is drawing near as the United States’ financial crisis hightens and their currency, the United States dollar, weakens daily within global foreign markets.

The proposed concept is based on the European Union and their common currency, the euro, and it is argued to be a natural extension of the North American Free Trade Agreement and the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America. Conspiracy theorists contend that the governments of the United States, Canada, and Mexico are already taking steps to implement such a currency. No current members of any country’s government have officially stated a desire to implement a “North American Union”.

Hal Turner, a white supremist from North Bergen, New Jersey has been making media statements and live blognews from his home in efforts to warn the world of America’s plans to self destruct and emerge as the controling super power of the North American Union.

The governments of the entire world know this cannot continue, and probably within six month, perhaps by February 2009, the United States will collapse and cease to function as a currency.

Turner’s theory states the dollars extinction will be due to America’s failure to live within it’s means thus creating the need to acquire overwhelming national debts; debts which realistically cannot and will not be paid. The entire use of the United States federal budget is simply not enough to cover basic intrests payments on these loans, let alone provide for the nation.

The United States Federal Government has overspent it’s budget by so much, for so long, it would need to be loaned 80% of the entire world’s savings, just to cover it’s primary deficits.

In supposed foreseen anticipation of their ultimate demise, the United States began planning a fusion with Mexico and Canada creating a common currency, the Amero, which would replace the U.S. dollar, the Mexican peso, and the Canadian dollar, allowing them a new beginning after their nations default and forced future bankruptcy.

In August 2007, rumors and conspiracy theories began circulating across the Internet regarding alleged United States Treasury-issued “amero” coins.

The inspiration behind these rumors may have been the posting of images of medallions created by coin designer Daniel Carr who designed a series of gold, silver and copper fantasy issues of “amero coins” ranging in denomination from one to one thousand.

My goal with these coins is not to endorse a Union of North America or a common “Amero” currency. I fully support the United States Constitution, and I would not welcome (in any form) a diminishment of its provisions. I expect that these coins will help make more people aware of the issue and the possible ramifications. I leave it up to others to decide if they are in favor of, or against a North American Union. And I encourage citizens to voice their approval or disapproval of government plans that impact them.

You may have never heard of this before and are sitting there stunned by this amazing announcement. However before you pick up the phone to call your mother, lawyer, priest or broker…..relax. It’s one of the hottest urban legends to come down the pike!

Or IS it? Could it be true? With the world in a tailspin due to financial crisis, we will soon see if the Amero myth really is more fiction than fact or if it becomes a trilateral reality.
