The bodies of three people found inside a home this week were so badly decomposed that their identities will have to be confirmed through dental records, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office said Saturday night.

Police found at least three bodies inside a home Friday night, and authorities were treating the case as possible homicides, an official with the prosecutor’s office said.

Several bodies have been found in a northern New Jersey home under circumstances that were not immediately clear to authorities.
