The road ahead is smooth for Supriya ‘Pawar’ Sule. He had the blessings of his father Sharad Pawar and his party, now she got the blessings of Congress party too.

Supriya Sule is the NCP’s nominee for the Rajya Sabha for the September 18 by-elections from Maharashtra. The Rajya Sabha seat was vacated after the death of NCP leader Vasant Chavan. Now Congress-NCP has decided to nominate her name as
Candidate for the by-poll.

Sharad Pawar, Praful Patel and other party leaders have decided to make Supriya as nominee for the Rajya Sabha seat by-poll. Later, the decision got the green signal by Congress President too.

However, Congress and NCP had a debate over the nomination of Rahul Bajaj by NCP against Congress nominee Avinash Pandey.

Supriya Sule had joined NCP on July 17 as active worker. She has done good work for the development for backward classes and women’s self-help groups in the state.
