What is R Madhvan doing of late? Well…The Actor besides his projects is busy feeling euphoric! Madhvan (better stamped as Maddy of RHTDM in Hindi viewers psyche), has been voted as the cutest Vegetarian by PETA. He shares podium with Kareena Kapoor, who has been voted alike.
Madhvan has been a vegetarian all his life and an ardent crusader of the notion. Madhvan is privileged, says:
I’ve been part of PETA from the time I became a film actor. I’m flattered to be chosen by them. Though let me tell you I think there’re far cuter and better-looking vegetarians in the entertainment industry like John Abraham and Shahid Kapoor.
Many Bollywood Actors as Shilpa Shetty, Rahul Khanna, John Abraham, Aishwarya Rai, Madhuri Dixit, Malaika Arora Khan, Rakhi Sawant etc. support PETA as well. In fact, some converted to vegan, as Shahid Kapoor.
Madhvan divulges in favor of veggie:
When you’re ill the first thing the doctors say is, avoid non-veg food. I know some religions demand consumption of non-vegetarian food. I’m not entirely against meat eating. I’m against the way animals are taken to slaughter houses.
He feels mercy for the animals being slaughtered, to gratify meat-eaters taste-buds.He says:
Once you see how animals are carted to be killed you’d never want to eat meat again. It’s so cruel and inhuman! How can anyone with family and children eat those animals after seeing them being dragged away?
Madhvan may say that Shahid or John is better, but the booty is in Madhvan’s kitty and with this Madhvan join the ranks of Stars with an accredited social obligation. Tread along Madhvan!
