Flawed brake-light switches make Volkswagen to recall 790,000 cars

Volkswagen of America Inc. has announced a major recall of 790,000 vehicles owing to some glitch in brake light switch.

The affected models include 1999-2006 Golf and GTI models, 2001-2005 Jettas, 2001-2007 New Beetles and the 2004 R32, all in United.
