Up till now Pakistani nation used to hear about the Miss India, Miss USA Miss Universe, Miss World and God knows what. Amusingly this time we even heard about a Miss Pakistan Miss Nosheen Idrees who is going to participate in the Miss Earth Contest. Pakistan for sure is progressing, even if there is no flour to feed the common masses with in the most important province of the country. What an example of development!
Anyway Miss Pakistan Nosheen Idrees belongs to the beautiful city of Jehlum and is studying at According to her, Pakistan is one of such places of the world where the most beautiful women of the world exist. Miss Nosheen should be informed; Pakistan is also the country in the world where beauty in any form, be it democratic, peaceful, economic or social is at stake.
Over a period of years a common Pakistani has been listening to different Misses Pakistan. According to my weak knowledge any lady holding the title of a Miss so and so is supposed to work for the area she represents. I as a common Pakistani have only one question to ask from the organizers of such a luxurious event: How many of the Misses Pakistan selected up till now have ACTUALLY been to Pakistan and how many have run a welfare programme for their mother land up till now?
