Is U.S. stance on Iran what Israel directs?

As the issue of building up the nuclear program of Iran is not getting that importance among all other Middle East crises, the U.S. Government should take necessary steps to resolve it as early as possible, says Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel.

The Military option is truly on the table

Few days ago, a cabinet meeting was held at the White House regarding the much anticipated nuclear program of Iran, where the Israeli Prime Minister articulated his apprehension over the matter. According to him, the issue is not getting the needed attention from the respective officials. Due to the lack of urgency, it is lagging behind all other affairs related to the Western Asia.

Mr. Netanyahu also accentuated that the Obama government should have a talk to the recently elected President of Iran about it. The military option, which has been discussed earlier, is truly on the table and it is time for the U.S. administration to reveal the fact to Iran ‘by action’, he said.

Iran is opting for ‘Alternate Routes’

The President of Israel made it clear that Iran is not following the way it is supposed to. Rather, it is strategically opting for certain effective ‘alternatives’, which can enrich its nuclear weapons by boosting their strength and capacity of to a great extent. Some of these weapons even contain a much greater level of uranium than the standard ‘red line’ set for military action.

Netanyahu also repeated his old demands in his recent speech. These include discontinuation of all sorts of enhancement of available as well as newly developed nuclear materials (including plutonium bomb), shipment of the existing supply out of the Iran, and putting down ‘Fordo’, the famous subterranean enrichment site of Iran, which is situated underground.

Military action is required to catch Iran’s attention

Without proper military action, it will never be possible to get the attention as well as stop the nuclear efforts of Iran, Netanyahu said. They should be made understand that the U.S. government is all set to take action against them as and when required.

However, the Obama government is not fully impressed by the explanations and demands of the Israeli President. Though it was on the same mind at first, things came out to be different last spring.

The U.S. officials have decided to take some ‘modest steps’ in order to deal with the issue successfully. They are going to allow Iran to produce nuclear materials and weapons in moderation as well as under highly interfering monitoring.
