Rising attacks on foreigners across different countries clearly indicate that people no longer feel at home in their own country because of mass immigration – legal or illegal. Increased immigration in UK, US, South Africa, and other countries of Europe and Asia has fuelled tensions and even resulted in deadly riots. USA’s immigrant population has doubled since 1990 and nearly quadrupled since 1970. However, immigration has been an integral part of human evolution leading to overall development of different societies. But the latest trends cannot be ignored, including incidents in South Africa, Italy, Malaysia, and UK.
