Money and the mad rush for TRP is driving our TV show producers crazy. The reality shows are worst hit with all types of bizzare feats being performed right in your drawing room so as to say one does not know where all this realism will stop.I don’t watch these shows but with every channel and even newspapers cashing in on the going ones in the Big Boss 3 house I could not ignore it.
The latest being BIG BOSS 3. First there is this really ordinary man with a super sized ego Kamal R Khan having a dubious distinction of making a flop Desh Drohi movie and God save us all he is planning to come out with its sequel.
The language and the brash behaviour throwing things around finally got him what he wanted public attention and obviously the channel is also happy about it. He was thrown out of the show but there are talks that he will come back again. After all one needs such characters for the show to go on.
What happened yesterday was really disgusting. I was channel surfing and saw Raju Srivatava’s shorts fell down and for a moment there he was totally exposed thankfully blurred, it was shocking to say the least. He is a popular figure and well known in each house hold. When he first came on the small screen everyone enjoyed his shows, he was a totally new and refreshing character and everyone wanted him to win the first position, but he came second. It is a different thing that now his standard has gone south.
What the beating Big Boss 2 had taken with Rahul Mahajan’s antics one thought that perhaps with a Dignified Amitabh Bacchan as the Big Boss 3 and not very controversial participants perhaps this show will be better but it seems that I was sadly mistaken.
