The Administration of Internet Information Services Measures was formulated to regulate internet information service activities and promote the healthy and orderly development of internet information services. According to relevant provisions stipulated in No. 291 Writ of the State Department of China Telecom, in No. 292 Regulatory Measures of Internet Content Providers (hereinafter it will be called ICP Regulatory Measures for short), in No. 3 Writ of the Ministry of Information Industry Regulatory Provisions of Internet Bulletin Board Services and in other relevant documents, the Beijing Communication Administration has the right to examine, ratify and supervise the ICP services in Beijing under the leadership of the Ministry of Information Industry. An operation license system shall apply to for-profit ICP and a record system shall apply to not-for-profit ICP. It is illegal for an individual or organization without ICP to engage in Internet information services.
If your domain has already been transferred from HiChina, please contact your current registrar for renewal in order to protect your domain.
China ICP License
All sites in China require ICP license (site permission) by China government, if you will use it for other ways, no need to get license.
And we will apply it for you if you host your site with us.
Please refer to the following 2 ways to get ICP.
1. If you have China office, please have your Chinese colleague do that directly at http://en.hichina.com
2. If you are a foreign owned company or individual, please provide us a scanned copy of the applicant’s passport and his/her full faced 800×600 photos (Blue, white or red background) so that we can do that for you. If you are a foreign owned company, please add company business registration license.
3. I have your passport, but company Registry is not right file to apply ICP license.
4. To get ICP number, it will need 20 working days; you can view your website by domain after your get the ICP number,
5. For the email, no need to get license, you can order it any time, meanwhile, after you paid, you can find the details on your member center, and you can use it after you did domain records

Please log in to en.hichina.com to submit your application. HiChina will check your ICP License progress occasionally according to China Internet Laws and Regulations. Your site can only be opened after your ICP License registration is approved.
