I am told its high season for Kenyan prostitutes!

Talk of sex boycott! Kenyan prostitutes are making a kill.
It is high season for commercial sex workers as wives have gone on a sex strike following a sex boycott called on by G10- a consortium of women lobbies. Ida Odinga, Prime minister’s wife apparently is a fully devoted participant in the strike since she is on record throwing her weight behind the whole thing. Can someone contact Lucy Kibaki and ask her if she is party to this? The thing is supposed to end by Thursday this week.

The whole idea is laughable and funny, I think women should be serious sometimes, the boycott is meant to push for reforms and constitutional review and also make Kibaki and Raila behave since what has been happening for the last many days has been so so discouraging.

On the other hand, I think the boycott has worked, yesterday, (Monday) the two principals were spotted somewhere talking after such a long time of war of words which has been keeping their lieutenants really busy exchanging rejoinders to remain relevant.
Again my first line would not be true, prostitutes have always been busy and they might not be feeling the hitting recession as everyone else. This is one sector that remains booming in my own opinion.

While calling for the boycott this is what the women said, “Kenya’s menfolk need not bother try doing anything. Those accustomed to securing “take-away”, the euphemism for twilight girls, be warned: They will not be in business, as the girls will be paid by G10 for “staying away from work”. I wonder how many have been receiving payments from G10.

I would really pity any woman who has remained loyal to the call, who said people’s marriages have to fail if the coalition failed? Would you rather lose/break a marriage and save a corrupt and selfish government?
