Imprisonment for someone is the legal proceedings awarded by the juridical system of a country. During the imprisonment, an individual have to pay the penalty for the crime committed. Prisoners are physically confined in jails and are deprived of their freedom they used to enjoy as free citizens of the same country. Imprisonment is of course a horrible experience for any individual. Prisoners suffer from unbearable mental torture as they are abandoned from the society and as such, no one bothers for their wellbeing. They do not get good food or any other opportunity for their personal betterment. The prison authorities also do not behave well with them.
Let us discuss few of the horrible experiences faced by the prisoners usually.
Left to Die
There are prisons all around the globe that has very inhumane officers who do not bother about human rights. If infuriated, they can go to any limits to punish the prisoners and eventually kill them torturing. There have been many examples of such deaths where the autopsy reports have revealed the death to be the inhumane acts of the infuriated police officers. Though the jail authorities are always supposed to uphold the law, they do such crimes by awarding very painful deaths to the prisoners out of their anger or personal grudges.
White Noise Torture
This method of torturing the prisoners is usually practiced in Iran, Turkey, and the United Kingdom. White noise can be referred to as the noise produced during the attempt to adjust the CRT televisions and non-digital radios to tune the correct channels. The prisoners who try to escape from the jail usually have to go through the pain of white noise bombarding on their eardrum on a continuous basis.
Taking Nutraloaf as Food
Nutraloaf is also known as prison loaf or disciplinary loaf. It is offered to those prisoners who disrespect the disciplinary rules set by a jail. If the prisoners assault prison wardens, they are punished to have nutraloaf. Nutraloaf is an unpleasant food to survive on, which does not meet the nutrition requirement of the prisoners too.
Cancer injections
Many scientists and doctors also use the prisoners for their research purposes to find remedy for cancer. They inject cancer to the inmates and conduct a study on them by applying their medicines for curing cancer. Though they have started this research sometime around 1956, they are yet to succeed.
Fight Clubs
There are many prisons around the world where illegal fight clubs are established by the jail authorities. They make the inmates fight with each other for their amusements. These fights result in missing teeth, broken bones, and shattered knuckles and so on.
