Youth Unions in Nepal towards Violence
Finally, three youth unions are seen in Nepal. Firstly, NCP (Maoist) established Youth Communist League (YCL) when Maoist militias started to stay in cantonment. Almost militias rejected by the UNMIN and some armed people were also involved in this league. Maoist leaders claimed that the league was to support peace process and development activities over nation. Indeed, this league became violent and started to attack rival parties members. According to political commentators, this league was used to get victory on constitutional assembly election held on last April. UML and Nepali Congress requested to dissolve YCL but Maoist disagreed on it.

Later on, NCP (UML) established Youth Force to face YCL because YCL attacked more members of UML. Then, some violent incidents took place in different places between YCL and Youth Force.
This week only, Nepali Congress introduced new youth team named 'Tarun Dasta'. NC has claimed that the team will be engaged on good governance and development activities.
All parties are claiming that their youth teams are devoted on development activities in society but in reality, these teams are seen as violent characters. This all happen by political ego. NC and UML objected on YCL but they themselves became inspired to do so. These groups are motivated towards political unsteadiness in society. So, the respective parties need to dissolve or revise these groups, otherwise the future of youth of country will be damadoled.
