Women Reservation Bill

I am a keen observer of activities related to women empowerment. Recently, yesterday Upper house of the parliament became “Karam Bhumi” to Mulayam and Laloo Parsad. Both of them and their followers have shown their power and consolidation. It was not unexpected, or we can say government of India itself allowed them to do the same. I would like to take all of you to the past incident held at Bangluru, ‘RAM SENA’ verses ‘WOMEN WORLD’. It was really a great revolutionary step and women of all parts of the country came forward to support entrance of girls in pubs.

Shobha Day, Brinda Karat, Mira Kumar, Girija Vyas, Renuka, Arundhati Roy, every body came all the way to fight against “RAM SENA”. They started ‘PINK CHADDI’ movement against ram sena leaders and most of them have sent their “chaddies” to RAM SENA office. Hundreds of chaddies have been sent. News papers and news channels were covering the incedent as news of national interest. Big celebrities were taking part in discussions on T.V. and on radio. The way government tackled the incident was amazing.

You may have started feeling that I have lost my path of discussion, not at all. That incedent and of yesterday’s have two common things 1) Women 2) Laloo and Mulayam. Both of them were supporters of ‘CHADDI’ revolution. What Ram Sena was demanding? Their demand was to stop girls from participating in pubs culture and also they were against friendships and all those activities which girls use to do by befooling their parents/family.

Even court came forward to assist women folk and those Ram Sena leaders and workers are still facing trials. While in Parliament Yesterday, the bill was for the welfare of women folks. 33% reservation in all walks of society a positive move but Laloo and party became rivals and even have won their war against the whole women world in particular, and society as a whole. Here it is the time for women folk to show their unity. It is the time for everybody to observe solidarity among women.

Let us see how Brinda Karat, Arundhati Roy , Renuka (formar minister in center government) Ambika Soni ,Shobha Day all of them has to start the movement against both Laloo and Mulayam. Whether they have the guts to challenge both Yadavas. The whole nation is looking towards all women leaders and expecting something like ‘PINK CHADDI’ movement against the due. It is the time also to see how neutral these women leaders are?

All of them built front to challenge ‘Ram Sena’ but it was a HINDU outfit and all women oppose the out fit on the name of communal hardliners. Here R.J.D. and S.P. are secular parties because they have asked division of women world on the bases of caste and religion. This is the time to see the reaction of secular woman leaders. I am expecting a biggest ‘PINK CHADDI’ revolution against the due and ask them to differentiate chaddies of backward class women and of others. If they can differentiate, they have the right to divide women on the bases of caste and religion. If they fail they have to ask forgiveness in public from the whole women folk. Also we have to watch how media reacts on this shameful incident.
