Witnesses say an explosion has killed at least 15 people in the Somali capital.
Salah Adde says a bomb hidden under a pile of garbage exploded on a main road and at least 15 people were killed. He says 10 were women who had been cleaning the street.
Medina hospital head Dahir Dhere says 35 wounded people were admitted. Most were women and children.
The attack early Sunday follows the signing of a peace agreement last month that has fueled power struggles within the transitional government and the Islamic insurgency it is fighting.
