Why Media Loves And Glorifies False Celebrities?
The media's love and hate relationship with the world of glamour exposes an ugly truth that battle for survival has downplayed the importance of sensitive portrayals. The real people in these age seem to languish somewhere in some secluded corner. Sometimes back RK Laxman and Amartya Sen were marginalized in the public function organized by the prominent government body.

Such an attitude speaks volume about sensibilities of people of the present era. Let's not forget that these so-called celebrities of modern times have their genesis in Page 3 culture nurtured by the bigwigs of media. Had media not provided them lifeline, they would not have gained larger-than life importance in mainstream scheme of things. It's unfortunate that precious paper is being wasted on glorifying insignificant acts of shallow beings.

The common man is least interested in knowing what SRK or likes of Mahesh Bhatt feel about various problems plaguing the nation. The common man is more interested having policies that make his life better. In my eyes that can only take place when we come to provide dignified space to people who really matter.
The false celebrities play no role other than creating confusion and disorder. The media should not waste its precious resources in painting them in glorious colours.
