Why India is no villain

POLITICS. .

I came across this article by Nitin Pai written in rebuttal to the baseless attack on India by Barbara Crossette, who is a former New Delhi bureau chief for the New York Times.

The link was tweeted by Brahma Chellaney. Chellaney is no stranger to Indians who follow current affairs, especially on defense and strategy policies. For those who do not know him, Chellaney is a Professor of Strategic Studies at the New Delhi-based Centre for Policy Research.

I would suggest you to read Crossette's diatribe first, and then read Nitin Pai's rebuttal.

My aim is not to present links to the audience to read what two people are fighting over on the net. The main objective is that they read Nitin's post that clears a few important things like India's position on Copenhagen (climate change) and Doha (world trade).

Tell me what you think about the issues and India's stand.

By the way, I don't think any journalist who has little or no understanding on a certain fields should tread into those, like Crossette should not have ventured into writing on India and Asian/world geopolitics.
