Why don’t we issue a blank check in favour of Barack Obama?

POLITICS. .

It has been recently remarked that most Europeans are still happy seeing Obama as the US President. They remain fascinated by him and grateful for the direction of his policies. Europeans are, no doubt, mostly developed countries. But they are a segment of the entire world. Aren’t we all that belong to developing and under-developed countries looking towards President Obama with high aspiration and feel a healthy atmosphere around us?

All the good news as depicted from an article: “Reality check from Oslo” of E.J. Dionne Jr., published on Monday, December 14, 2009 in ‘The Washington Post’: Obama's pledge to close Guantanamo, the ban on torture, the continued withdrawal from Iraq, his reaching out to Iran and North Korea, engagement on the Israeli-Palestinian issue, the quest for nuclear disarmament, the effort to "reset" relations with Russia. And there is America's new stance on global warming, on display in Copenhagen. This repositioning matters not just to elites but also to a rank-and-file green movement emerging as an alternative on the center-left to social democratic parties, notably in France and Germany.

Straightforwardly, Obama’s earnestness as regards flowing into the long prevailing conflict between India and Pakistan centering Kashmir is also to be remarkably noted. And that of curbing fundamentalism and wiping out terrorism once and for all from this earth, too, should be considered as a noble attempt. Recently, he has send 30,000 American soldiers to Afghanistan with an intention of finding out the hidden hero Bin Laden on the center stage to justify terrorism of Talibans. Finally, it’s better to quote the writer and feel confident: a defense of "just war," and it was -- a rigorous, unblinking argument for why violence and the threat of violence can be necessary on behalf of the right and the good.”

Again, apart from so many out door activities, does anybody say that Obama is not serious enough at home? Overcoming economic setback and health reform, human rights and social justice Obama might have earned, in the meantime, a little reputation. Of course, critics’ willn’t agree to candidly all these performance and progress. It doesn’t matter; let him proceed as he is accustomed to tackle things before they turn wild.

True indeed, the future lies in Asia is very difficult to assimilate by the developed countries in Europe. But it’s a fact which can never be saddened. It’s likely to be in reality, sooner is better, if the world around accept spiritual inclination of India and its strength and stability in the limelight of democratic outlook and performance, specially, since 1947. We are thinking deeply about “One World; One Religion” being in the ennobling contact of “Ma-Mahajnan”, a spiritual genius. The Mother has already paved a way through her songs and surmons, expressed in a state of “Conscious Trance”.

I am highly motivated as I could realize being one with the writer: “Last came his religiously inspired insistence that the idea of "love" is neither romantic nor naive but provides the "spark of the divine that still stirs within each of our souls" and helps us not to despair in the face of history's ambiguities. It was especially moving that in supposedly secular Europe, the "spark of the divine" is what won Obama applause.”--This is why Obama appears as the outstanding personally to bring about peace and bliss around this planet. We may criticize him but should and must remain by his side, at least for a few years to come.

Mysterious are the ways of providence. Otherwise how can we expect the renowned journalist out with such a verdict: "he seemed to promise the impossible, and because he was so eloquent, we believed him?" How deserving Obama’s faithfulness that everybody at home and abroad sings his praise: “Every realist understands the importance of execution, and the president has worked to do on the diplomatic practice of Obamaism. But the theory is sound, and the promise is still there.”—What a commendable conclusion has been drawn out!

As a true critic E.J. Dionne Jr stands poles apart from others and obviously within himself in pursuance of his earlier position. However, both the articles, published on the 14 th day of December, 2009 ‘A policy bears fruit’ and ‘Reality check from Oslo’ are informative and have touched our heart. We are supposed to raise your spirits for all bliss and ever lasting peace.
