Who says our Prime Minister is weak?
Who says our Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh is a weak Prime Minister?.

I will say he is one of the most daring and strong Prime Ministers the country has ever seen. Just listen Dr Singh's words: “You cannot be talking and at the same time having terror machine (in Pakistan) as active as ever before...Once Pakistan moves beyond this terror-induced coercion, we will be very happy to engage productively with Pakistan to resolve all outstanding issues,” Dr Singh noted while addressing a joint press conference with the US president Barak Obama at the Hyderabad House in Delhi at the fag end of Obama's 4-day visit to the nation.
Has anyone ever thought that our Prime Minister will send out such strong words just in the presence of the US President who has been strongly nudging the country to resume dialogue. More than once during the last two days, Obama has nudged India to restart the dialogue between India and Pakistan to resolve all disputes.
Whatever the US says, Dr Singh has sent out a firm message to Pakistan with visiting US president Barack Obama looking on that re-engagement was not possible with terror infrastructure on its soil still intact. Dr Singh’s veto of Indo-Pak talks and Pakistan-sponsored terror going hand in hand came even as he insisted that India was committed to engaging Pakistan and resolving all outstanding issues, including Kashmir.
“I have always maintained that a strong, peaceful and moderate Pakistan is in interest of India, South Asia and the world as a whole...we are committed to engaging Pakistan, resolving all outstanding issues, including the word ‘K’. We are not afraid of that,” our Prime Minister said while making it clear that a dialogue could not begin until Islamabad acted against terror outfits thriving within its borders.
Incidentally, Dr Singh's plainspeak on Pakistan came even as Mr Obama once again nudged India to restart the dialogue process with the neighbour, suggesting that they start with the less controversial issues and then move on to the more controversial issues.
Now, judge him he is weak or strong. I will say he is a strong Prime Minister.
