Hard to believe , Virender Sehwag didn’t praise Sachin Tendulkar when he was en route to his magical double ton ! I don’t think there would be a cricket fan nationwide who didn’t praise the little maestro. Moreover, Sachin enjoys almost a demi-god status among his fans. Now for scores of such fans, this news is going to come as a blot from the blue !
Just take it easy fans ! We aren’t talking of any misunderstanding or rivalry between two cricketing genius. Sehwag does has a reason for his stance. He confesses , he has a superstition that every time he goes on to cheer or support a batsman who is on the verge of attaining a milestone, the batsman gets out ! Obviously Veru could not take this risk and jeopardize the chances of Sachin getting into the immortal cricketing record books. Now we understand what stopped the Nawab from not going the Najafgar’s Nawab way !
