Indian Wellness Industry on Boom
After food, clothing and shelter the next thing which any one looks at is good health care.

This going to be $77 billion market in India to be exploited by the current and new players of wellness.
So there are opportunities for every one.
Be Baba Ram Deo ji or Hospital Chains like Max, Fortis, Medants, Apollo etc. These Corporates have accordingly devised suitable plans to take care of health care of the segment which is not looking at Govt. run hospitals. Our economy and needs can well accept this and exploits for gains.
What I am thrilled is another model which is being practiced at Agra city. If Agra is known for Tajmahal or Red Fort in the popular case, it is also known for cheap medical and health care. There n-number of private nursing homes which are run with the backing of medical facilities offered by the Dr. and physicians working for Govt. Medical College or Govt. run Hospitals. I was amazed when my ailing father was treated for Prostate and Stone in Urinal bladder with surgery and nursing home facility for merely Rs. 70,000/= only. I am glad to say that the surgery was performed in just 25 minutes. This treatment if taken at any reputable hospitals at Delhi, I am sure would have costed not less than Rs. 3,00,000/= or so. I found that Agra is offering this cheap treatment to hordes of population of the adjoining areas covering UP, Rajasthan and Haryana. This model could be seen and exploited for other regions as well. I am also given to understand that many of the leading surgeons from Agra keep visiting Hospitals like Apollo, Fortis etc. in Delhi and offer their services.
I believe, we can build wellness and heath care centers as a right way to give the needy what they can at best afford. Govt. and its efforts of providing relief are just not sufficient and working. Lop sided policies have made it a crippling case in itself.
Our Health Ministry is to think in terms of offering wellness to different class of customers differently. Today’s initiatives will take us long way.
