It is quite oblivious that Rose becomes so special on Valentine day and we experience great demand for this flower. Surprisingly, very few people know that Condoms sales also increase on this particular day. Contraceptive pills/ female condoms are also high in demand. Demand is 20 to 30 % high on valentine day. What is the reason of this sudden demand? I know what are you thinking about?? But I think somewhat different. See, on valentine day a Single rose costs 30 to 40 rupees. Where as a packet of condom, which contains five or more condoms also costs the same. So why one should go for a flower when a condom can also equally showcase your love for your partner. In fact, you can show your love for five or more times on Valentine day. I think we should also celebrate Valentine day as an ‘International condoms sales day”. I am writing a letter to UNO in this regard.
