US Wants to Interrogate Bin Laden’s Wives
Osama Bin Laden’s killing by American commandos a week ago in Abbottabad, Pakistan, left many questions unanswered. And the US is now demanding of Pakistan to allow American investigators access to Bin Laden’s three wives so as to interrogate the widows about Bin Laden and his activities etc.

The New York Times reports that the American President’s security adviser has asked Pakistan to allow US investigators to interrogate Bin Laden’s bereaved wives. According to the paper, US interrogation from the recently killed terrorist’s wives will be aiming at learning who in Pakistan was actually helping Bin Laden and hiding him in Pakistan.
The US demand makes good sense since any evidence and details relating Bin Laden will be important in guiding the course of action against terrorism in Pakistan and abroad. What is still confusing is the question of Osama’s possible arrest instead of killing him. At the time when his compound was raided, he was said to be unarmed or at least not in a position to have escaped live arrest. Hs wife was shot but not killed. Couldn’t the US commandos have captured him alive and brought him before the world to tell everybody who was/were have been with him in all this dirty business called terrorism?
