US Needs to Release Proof of Osama’s Death
The doubts over Osama Bin Laden’s killing in a US-led operation in Abbottabad have been removed for the most part after Al Qaeda has confirmed his death, as reported by Reuters. The militant organization has also expressed its determination to launch more attacks on the West in vengeance.

Bin Laden’s family in Pakistan has also confirmed his death. What is still harboring the shadow of doubt is the refusal of the White House to release the most convincing proofs of Bin Laden’s death, namely the photos of his dead body and the video of his body’s disposal into the sea. Apparently, the US fears that showing the gruesome photos will trigger violence and acts of terror by Al Qaeda and its network. For good reason, people are skeptical of this reasoning by the White House.
The fact that Al Qaeda already has declared vengeful war on the US and its allies, it makes little sense that the US keeps fearing of a backlash. If the US is brave enough to hunt a wanted criminal down on foreign land, why would it shrink from providing the proof of his death? The proof in form of photos and video will not only end the skeptics but also demoralize those who sympathize with Bin Laden and mean plan to carry his terror mission forward.
