Under sea cable breakdown interrupt Internet services in India and Egypt:

The collapse in an international under sea cable networks badly interrupted the internet services dealings to INDIA and EGYPT on Wednesday. In Egypt the 70% of the service was disrupted according to the telecommunication ministry.

“There has been a 50 to 60 per cent cut in bandwidth," Rajesh Chharia, the President of Internet Service Providers Association of India confirmed”
BPO and IT companies are the ones most affected by this, as large part of their work is dependent on internet based calls and data transferring.

Information say that the emergency back has been provided but it will take 10-15 days to fully restore the services.
