Ukrainian Man Gouges Out Grandma's Eyes And Cannibalizes Her
There are so many sick people in this world, and it doesn't take much to set them off. Every day you read in your local paper or on the Internet about someone who flips out and kills a bunch of people. And what is most frightening is that it's not always a stranger, it could be your next-door neighbour, a co-worker or even a family member. And these horrific things are happening all over the world, in varying degrees of horror and for various reasons. Sometimes it's a disgruntled employee who kills co-workers like Omar Thornton, 34, who shot at least 10 co-workers after he was fired for stealing from the warehouse he worked at as a driver. Sometimes, there is no reason whatsoever.

Take Sergei Zhmaryov, 26, a Ukrainian computer programmer who has been charged with one of the most grotesque things a human can do to another human being. Apparently high on cannabis, this reprobate attacked his grandmother, Lydia, 60 and cannibalized her, while she was still breathing.
Sergei Zhmaryov is alleged to have slashed 60-year-old Lydia with a shard of broken mirror, gouging out her eyeballs and eating them, police said. She was conscious and desperately trying to escape throughout the horrific attack.
When she screamed for help, Zhmaryov sliced off her tongue and ate it as well, it was alleged.
He is also said to have cut off her lips and ears during the assault on a woman who had raised him as a child after his parents split.
His granny obviously did not survive.
In addition to being high on dope, he was apparently a religious fanatic
Police in Simferopol, Ukraine, pumped gas into the flat to subdue then arrest the alleged killer.Known to neighbours as a religious fanatic, Zhmaryov dressed only in his underpants, holding a cross, chanting prayers and is believed to have conducted a 'funeral service' for his grandmother.
And even though Police chief Olga Kondrashova claimed the murder "..was committed with particular cruelty." The longest sentence he might face in jail if convicted is a mere 20 years.
