A Ukrainian official says a Mi-8 helicopter has crashed into the Black Sea, leaving 19 people dead.
A spokesman for state gas company Naftogaz spokesman say the company copter went down at about 2:30 a.m. EDT as it was trying to land.
Valentyn Zemlyansky says one person survived Monday’s crash.
The ITAR-Tass news agency reported the passengers were employees of the gas company who were headed for an off-shore drilling rig.
