Turn the Table - Into a Bookshelf

If you are living in a one room apartment, then I am sure you like the design as much as I do. After all, it is perfect from a functional point of view. If you are using the table for reading, and you need to have you books on hand, then all that space beneath the table and under you chair are there to be used as a shelf. But at the same time you could use it as a table with two chairs, with your girlfriend (or boyfriend, or just friend, or whoever) sitting across.

Now this dual function is quite fine, except for one thing. Imagine you are sitting with your girlfriend and she says, “where is that great novel I saw you carrying that day?”

Can you imagine yourself saying, “It’s right under you sweetheart?” Might make for a cringe moment.
