After a great entertainment of one & half month, DLF IPL 3 is finally end. Every people, who loves entertainment is waiting for IPL 4. What is IPL to the common people of India? Those 50 days of IPL, entertains us so much that we forget all our sorrows. Cricket is most favorite game in India. Cricketers get respect as GOD here. We are seeing them everyday in our TV through IPL. They are hitting 6 & 4 every match, what we want from them. IPL creates an atmosphere in the ground, which makes everyone happy. Before IPL, two or three people in a family used to watch Cricket. But now all the people in the family are watching IPL. That’s why TRP of the TV channel is increasing rapidly. Every company wants to telecast their advertisement on that channel, when the match is progressing. The result is the channel is making profit. The companies, who are showing the ads, are making huge response from the audience. So, they are making profits also. Finally, the officials of IPL, is making profits also from tickets, TV contacts & other sources. That’s not a matter of common people like us. We are getting entertainment from IPL, which is enough for us. We don’t bother in that, which people are making profit from it or not. It’s not a matter to think for us. We are happy to watch IPL. But some incidents are happening in IPL, which is not good for the game. Foreign money is coming. The franchisees are not paying their taxes. People have no ideas, who are the owners of the teams. From where the money is coming.
After all, Cricket is a gentle man’s game. So every ones have to be gentle to organize a game like IPL. BCCI suspends Lalit Modi. Sashi Tharoor gave resignation from ministry. But that is not the end. BCCI have to investigate thoroughly. Governments have to help them. We, common people must know all the truths. We don’t give them the power to make us fool. They can’t play with our emotions.
Being a cricket lover & a great fan of IPL, I want the show must go on. But the same time, I love my country. I don’t want anything that is bad for my country. So Government has to assure us that the game will be fair in future. It’s their duty. They have to fulfill. They have to investigate & inform the common people the result.
