The most coveted soft toy from a man’s perspective

I know I will lose some close female friends for writing this piece as also lots of hate mail. But I have to let out the bee in my bonnet called mind. I wonder why men are obsessed with female breasts; their navel, bottoms and legs are distant competitors. I am sure they feature prominently in their fantasies and all their senses can feast upon them. It is not an accident that female have been given a pair placed strategically.

From an architect’s perspective the bell shaped dome with a mushroom top is aesthetically pleasing if well maintained, neglected it becomes an eyesore like slums. Females also let no opportunity unturned to entice them or show off their strategic assets.

When I was a child not a glimpse could be seen. Salwar was a modern dress with dupatta in place. Now figure hugging low jeans and short top are the in things. Even in salwar there is a strategic slit not for ventilation, I suppose.

Kingfisher calendars and tabloid supplements with lovely divas showing lots of skin definitely push the sale of goods advertised along with men’s libido. I am reserving another post for 6 pack bare shirt men. I wonder from being the first contact point with female and the sole source of sustenance when breasts become an object of lust. But before boys attain puberty, the twin towers become their object of attention and girls feel burdened by their huge weight.

At times I wonder what is so special about sex which lends it a mysterious aura. Is it our closed mind or natural attraction? I think the answer lies some where in between. In my younger days women cared two hoots before nursing their babies in public. No more in urban India. The short spells for which they do the honors are all in doors. I do find a strange contradiction. We do not want their natural exposure and leave no stone unturned to show them off. Is it not a strange contradiction?
