On a lazy Sunday morning I went to have my break fast in a near by homely restaurant.As soon as I entered ,the server guided me to the vacant table.As I was placing my order the server was distracted by a foreigner family entering the restaurant .
He was nervous till I ordered for my "dosa" and all most snatched the menu card from me to give it to the foreigner family . By the time he went to their table most of the servers surrounded their table and were waiting till they placed the order ignoring a customer asking,(actually yelling) for some water.Finally the family of three ordered very little and they finished their break fast and left.By this time when the servers turned back to see the other customers ,the restaurant was almost empty.When the server brought the bill to me. I couldn't stop asking him ,"Hi "Raju " did you see how many customers you missed while all of you were paying attention to only one table?.Any ways now that you all have to share the tip from one table among you ,there is not much in it for you .form next time better treat all customers with same interest " .Raju gave me a blank stare as I left the restaurant.
