The Great Strip show….Get it up….Ragging and Gagging….

So pathetic…I mean all the stuff of ragging….first they kill a bright and gentle student with aman as for peace in his name….Heavily drunk seniors showing who is the Boss…Aman really found out who the bosses were…

And the college bosses….principal….warden….manager…..security get together to pass it away as suicide…how many instances must this have happened….

And then you have five seniors in Andhra Pradesh getting the poor junior to strip dance….what pleasure…..as in the Lesbians… unfathomable behavior…The poor girl tried to commit suicide and is hospitalized as of now….will she ever the overcome the trauma…shame….and this society…..

Can she ever be normal in her life without memories….of this horror….what will it do to her mind frame….at this young age???

In fact Ragging is not as the term implies of having a bit of fun and knowing your seniors as it is always made out as….it is a gruesome element and a fact in many institutions…..and just used by hooligans and bullies in the guise of students who are mentally affected wrecks…..and is always created by a mob mentality….

Seniors who individually would not condone such acts too keep quiet or get carried away….and then it becomes a habit when the juniors fail to object and keep quiet….scared no doubt….

But it is this very keeping quiet syndrome that empowers those rascals to take pleasure out of this abuse….

In instances of extreme results as in Amans case….they get highlighted….but in other thousands of incidents….these scars remain and are taken along with the Graduation degree by the students….and remain….affect….and persist all their life….

College authorities generally ignore these going ons….this should change….and very strict laws should be framed….maybe a ombudsman and a special committee should be appointed in each state having representation from the institution….government…..law agency….and from the students….

And far and wide publicity given to students to enable them to complain without fear…..in just one month you will see the difference….and this menace will stop….

Stop Gagging the Student to Stop Ragging…..and Back them up with actions…not mere words…

Maybe us here need to start a forum where any student could complain and maybe have Stop Ragging volunteers in every college to report….Amans death demands this….is it not a case on one unavoidable death too many….
