The curse of being alone is not in the fact that nobody is with you when you need them the most; it is the fact that every one rejected you right when you needed them the most.
Do we know for sure or are we completely certain, that from all the species that map the globe, we humans are the only ones who feel lonely??? How sure are we that a dog or a cat left alone does not get lonely and is happy licking himself and chewing on his master’s shoes and undergarments? Strange it is…this state of loneliness.
I always ponder what it means when sum one dies of a broken heart. I somehow don’t understand the connection between the heart and the inert craving of being close to some one. Is it being alone that kills the spirit within us or the feeling of being lonely that paralyzes us and cripples our senses one nerve at a time. Hungry at mind and broken by heart we wander to places unknown.
So what is it that am searching…a cure for my broken heart? ...a cure for the plague of loneliness spreading across my system or the cure to the infestation that I have been breading inside this dead decaying body.
