The X-100 adapted from a 1961 Continental. President Kennedy was killed in this model car, after his death it has fitted with bullet proof windows and armor. The car weighed four tons and cost $200,000 even before the armor addition.

1972 Lincoln used by Presidents Nixon, Carter, Ford and Reagan. Helping to shield President Ford from a 1975 assassination attempt took a bullet in a right side window during the 1981 assassination attempt on Ronald Reagan.

1983 Cadillac Fleetwoods ended the decades long use of the Lincoln when it became the presidential care in 1984.

The 1989 Lincoln used by George H. W. Bush.

1993 Cadillac Fleetwoods for President Clinton.

The Cadillac 2006 DTS, current presidential limousine, went into service in 2001 and was updated for Inauguration Day in 2005.
