Good news for the 3-IDIOTS viz: Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi and Madhavan. Already the trio we consumed most of the news bytes across the globe ever since the movie released. They must have thought after Sharukh and Kajol replaced their name with the much talked about My Name Is Khan, the heat generated by 3 Idiots have seen the end of the tunnel. But to their surprise, it was in the news for some weird ugly reasons.
This time the social networking site Facebook happens to be the ‘medium’ through which some political scores were settled. In a bizarre political mud-swinging match, Kashmir's ruling party the National Conference (NC) has threatened to file a defamation suit against the opposition People's Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti over the portayal of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, his father Farooq Abdullah and grandfather late Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah . It does transpire that the Abdullahs' faces have been morphed on to the poster of the film 3 Idiots on Facebook calling them the betrayers of Kashmir.
The success of the film can be gauged from this instance. Because the political party’s often resort to playing with the pulse of the common man. They every well know 3-Idiots have almost become the national anthem of India. And what better way to make a mockery of rival political party other than this? Chetan Bhagat – Whats your take on this?
