Ten Reasons Why People Kill Others in Uganda
A born again christian, Tom Kulwande murdered his marriage partner, a mother of his twelve children, with a kitchen knife due to frustrations over being denied sex and her flirtatious behaviour with other men.

He further confesses that on several occasions encountered her having sex with other men, talked to his pastor about it and then relaxed back with hope that "...she would one day treat..." him like a man. Their were quarrels between the couple and obviously the wife had made up her mind to vacate the home but the Tom hid her clothes, according to the children.
After butchering his wife and feeling greatly guilty of it, Tom decides to hang himself but luck was not on his side because the rope splits just before his death is complete.
Another 28 year old man attacked his father's home with a panga cutting the step mom and three of his siblings during his father's absence. He looked at the siblings as a stumbling block to his quest to acquire more his parents land. The murder was after his father denied him another piece of land for his fishing business.
In yet more murders, a son stabbed his dad who refused to offer him a miserly 500 shillings to buy alcohol.
To break it all down for you, people are killing others for;
1. Land
2. Sex
3. Flirtatious behavior with other men
4. Money
5. Power
6. Women
7. Mob justice
8. Child thief (child/ritual sacrifice)
9. Domestic violence
10.Alcohol
Most of these are vices already analyzed by clerics who echoed a message of repentance to their clergy because these are ruining a nation which is otherwise God-fearing.
