Study: PS3 More Popular Among44+ Age Group
A recent survey by consumer research firm Experian has found that PS3 owners are actually much, much older than Wii and Xbox owners. The study says the Wii attracts 18-24 year olds, while the Xbox 360 nabs 35-44 year olds. The PS3 then gets those who are 44 or older. This survey doesn't raise much doubts or questions as to the validity of it because since the PS3 has been out much longer than any of them, it would have the older fanbase.
The study then found that Xbox 360 and PS3 owners were much more likely to read/buy video game magazines and less likely to go on game shopping sprees. The survey gives some of the most obvious answers to all those gaming questions, but what I don't get is why the survey? We know the answers, we aren't stupid. Oh well, it is done and over with.
