Sreeshanth's astonishing comeback
What makes a true sportsman...skill, hard work, knowledge of the game, perseverance and last but not the least a good attitude. Many sportsmen have perished down while climbing the ladder just due to the wrong attitude, when S. Sreesanth broke into the sporting scene everybody knew a boy with oodles of talent has arrived, but subsequently everybody doubted his attitude. Unusual sledging not building rapport with fellow state players etc; Sreesanth’s stats does not show mediocrity (best performance) ODI: 6/55 versus England and in tests twice 5 wicket haul that too against south Africa and Srilanka, Sree's talent comes to light more importantly in his hunger for success after a gap of 19 months.

A fast bowler comes and picks up 5 wickets against a top competitive side on a dead track –commendable and that too in a single day. What exactly did change in Sree's perspective towards the game; most importantly his attitude he has a lot cooler head over his shoulders now a lot smarter and he knows how much to try and experiment in a given track now. He is one of those players who always need a coach at his back to guide him. He can become a good player in history unlike great players like Sachin Tendulkar, Sir Garfield Sobers, Andy flower, Erapalli Prasanna to name a few. These were all great thinkers of the game; still I would like to say Sreesanth is here to stay in this scene and this performance is not a fluke. He has made an astonishing come back.
