Slaughter of Teens at Party in Ciudad Juarez being linked to Cartel Dispute
Military authorities arrested a suspect alleged to have participated in the killing of 16 people, mostly young high school students, on Sunday in Ciudad Juarez.

Jose Dolores Arroyo Chavarria, 30, testified that a man nicknamed "El Diez" ordered the assassination of the teens because of their supposed involvement as members of Doble A,(Artistas Asesinos), a rival assassin gang to the Juarez Cartel's La Linea.

El Diez ordered the slaughter because they are Double A's and serve Chapo said the detainee in apparent relation to Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, leader of the Sinaloa cartel, one of the drug trafficking groups vying for control against the Ciudad Juarez Cartel and Vicente Carrillo Fuentes.
The detainee testified to the Public Prosecutor to being a Hawk for Carrillo Fuentes' Juarez Cartel assassins La Linea. Arroyo Chavarria testified on the night of the massacre, four trucks with four gunmen each were sent to exterminate the rival gang. He was posted as a look out in Plaza Torres and was to report any military movement in the area. He was called after the attack and was told his job was done for the night.
At the time of his arrest Sunday night, at the corner of Jilotepec and Panamericana Street, Arroyo Chavarria claimed he was waiting for a call to be told at what hour to begin his next shift as a 'Hawk' for yet another AA execution.
