Simon Wiesenthal Center: A Center of Hypocrisy

Of all the vile pro-Israel shops in America, the L.A.-headquartered Simon Wiesenthal Center may stand above. Due to the fact that its militant Zionist is cloaked in an exploitative and fake Holocaust garb.

Like the other phony Elie Wiesel, this is a bullshit sanctimonious outfit which seeks to profit off of the Holocaust in shameless fashion.

Simon Wiesenthal Center speaks a lot about "tolerance". In fact, it has nice "tolerance" museums (more on that later). But this is an institution that is only 1) concerned with cheer-leading for Israeli wars and occupation and dismissing the suffering of the Palestinians 2) smearing Arabs and Muslims as part of the first agenda.

This is why for all the rhetoric of "tolerance" this center has nothing about combating prejudice against Arabs and Muslims, without question the most maligned ethnic and religious community in America today. But Simon Wiesenthal Center has nothing in their defense. You'll find it all: Jews, Hispanics, Blacks, Asians, gays and everyone else. Combating stereotypes about all these groups. But nothing about Arabs and Muslims. Such stark and obliviously politically motivated omissions dealing with a more than a quarter of the people on the earth reflects the agenda of Simon Wiesenthal: To use the self-righteous exploitation of Jewish suffering in order to engage in one's own prejudice and then cite your ostensible museum of "tolerance" and mission statement as a shield against charges of bigotry.

Never has a pro-Israel lobby group been this effective in using the memory of the Holocaust for cheap and petty political purposes and, more perversely, for a new prejudice.

And it is indeed prejudice. Omissions are one thing, but this center now is engaging in genuinely hateful acts and promoting anti-Islam, fear-mongering films:

Los Angeles’ Museum of In-Tolerance, named in honor of Nazi-hunter Simon Wiesenthal, is now steeped in Muslim hatred. Rabbi Marvin Hier, its current leader, has endorsed the Iran yellow star hoax. Now, he’s actively promoting one of the most Islamophobic films ever produced, Third Jihad.

The Clarion Fund is listed as the sponsor of the film, though its creators (including Rabbi Raphael Shore) are affiliated with the pro-settler Aish Hatorah, a group based in Israel. Clarion appears to be little more than a domestic shell organization designed to enable the producers to claim the film was made in the U.S.

Third Jihad features Zuhdi Jasser, who though he professes to be Muslim, seems to detest almost everything about his religion, especially anything that remotely hints of Islam existing in a political context. Jasser runs a one man Muslim organization which is characterized in an IPS story thus:

American Islamic Forum for Democracy…according to its website, is a non-profit which seeks to “intellectually stand against the religious fanatics who exploit the religion of Islam for a nihilistic, anti-American anti-Western war.”

Jasser makes common cause with Muslim haters like Daniel Pipes and other Jewish neocons. Years ago, he was active in CAIR but that relationship turned sour. Now he detests everything to do with the national Muslim organization and takes every chance he can to attack it. Third Jihad provides him all the opportunity he needs.

In the film, he purports to have discovered a radical Muslim version of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion:

“The Third Jihad” is largely based on a document the producers say the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) discovered in 2003. The film’s creators purport the document is a “’Grand Jihad Manifesto’ authored by the Muslim Brotherhood in North America, according to the promotional materials.

A Grand Jihad manifesto? The irony of a Jewish organization claiming dedication to tolerance, no less, to be promoting an anti-Muslim version of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

And then there is actually destruction of Muslim history:

Jerusalem is the slated location for the capital of an independent Palestinian state, and this is not a matter to be haggled over as far as the Palestinians and Arab and Islamic leaders are concerned. At least 40 generations of leading figures in Palestine’s and the Islamic world’s political, military, religious, and intellectual history -- ranging from generals in Saladin’s armies and Sufi saints to great scholars and distinguished judges -- are buried in the ancient Mamilla cemetery, located in present-day West Jerusalem. Part of this great historic landmark is now being excavated in order to pave way for a “Museum of Tolerance” to be built by the Los Angeles–based Simon Wiesenthal Center, despite the protests of the families of those buried there and of many leading Israeli academics and organizations. Its completion would erase not only part of Jerusalem’s Palestinian and Islamic heritage but also part of the heritage of all mankind that makes this city so important to the entire world.

Destroying an ancient Islamic cemetery in order to build a "Museum of Tolerance." Just try saying that over and over again. Only Zionists, as is custom, could come up with such Orwellian prejudice and injustice and do so while claiming that they are on the moral high guide and just trying to do good.

And, BTW, these bastards want to build their center over a Muslim grave but have come out against the Islamic community center in lower Manhattan. And misrepresented the center's intention, to boot. Another insistence of their anti-Muslim campaign.

The sickly-looking rabbi who heads this awful propaganda shop, Rabbi Hier, is a right-wing Jewish fundamentalist fanatic who denounces any critic of Israel as "antisemitic" (how original, no?) and even has gone so far as to dismiss critics and even concern over his bigoted museum as "antisemitic". So to stand against Zionist colonization and discretion is hateful to Jews, but what about it to Muslims? The celebrated architecture Frank Gehry even withdrew from the project. But they found some other asshole to do it.

And just as his American, of which there are several, museums of "tolerance" has nothing about Arabs and Muslims, this new one in occupied Jerusalem will not have another about Israeli discrimination and racism against Muslims. His words: “It’s not about the experience of the Palestinian people. When they have a state, they’ll have their own museum.”

The phonies at the SWC, never better spoken. Using the brand of "tolerance" for bastardly intolerant acts.

And, if you dare protest, like other self-righteous Zionists they will condemn you and say that your bad attitude to their unjust acts are the problem and pitfalls toward peace. Zionists want to commit acts of aggression, dispossession and colonization but the mere rhetorical protest of the either side is then made to be the "instigator" and the "obstacle toward peace" in their propaganda. They have the temerity to demand silence in their face of their injustice. As if even if they got this silence it would somehow engender decency and a concern for Palestinian rights amongst them.

They are too far gone: too far tribal in their mindset to ever see the humanity of others, especially the Palestinians, and to see their actions as the horrors that they are.

But in the end such arrogant posture and acts have only dug the grace of Zionism.
