Overweight people always grieve against the abuses they face in their daily life. In a horrific case in UK, Marsha Coupe, was beaten up black and blue by another woman in her carriage — just for being overweight. Although London prides itself on being diverse yet there is almost a zero-tolerance on anyone of size and one can’t walk the streets without being verbally or physically assaulted. Therefore, Marsha Coupe is campaigning to see discrimination against fat people outlawed. Should abuses against anyone of size be considered as hate crime?
