A 19-year-old girl in Lagos at the few weekend stabbed her elder sister’s husband to death following a quarrel over beer.

Margaret Samuel was arrested by the police detectives attached to Ajah police station after jide Arovehun died in the hospital.
Margaret was paraded by the Lagos state police public Relations Officer, Mr. Frank Mba, at his office premises on Monday.
Margaret told reporters that her elder sister and the deceased’s wife, Patience, had summoned her to the Aroyehuns’ residence at Abraham Adesanya Estate, Ajah, and Lagos.
The suspect said Patient complained to her that Aroyehun had quaffed all the beer meant for sale in the refrigerator. According to the suspect, Aroyehun has refused to pay for the beer he drank from his wife’s fridge.
Margaret alleged that when she confronted Aroyehun on the issue, he
To defend her when the beating became unbearable. She then claimed to have picked up a knife in the parlor with which she stabbed the deceased to death.
The suspected killer claimed the deceased was subsequently rushed to the hospital where he later died. Margaret said she resides with her other sister, peace, at Jubilee estate, Ajah.
The suspect who hails from IKot-EKpene in Akwa Ibom Stressed that she had no previous altercation with the victim, adding that she was formerly living with him, her sister (patience) and their one year old baby, Jibola.
Lagos State police spokesman, Mba, said Aroyehun might have survived if the incident had been reported to the police immediately and the victim rushed to a nearby hospital.
Mba warned that violence is never a good way to resolve any crisis, even as he advised Nigerians to eschew violence in all ramifications.
Mean while, the body has been deposited in a Lagos General Hospital morgue.
