Save our tiger project-seeks national support
I saw other day the advertisement in TV put u by Aircell about our national pride Tiger and felt concerned that merely 1411 tigers are now estimated be in existence. If poaching continues at this pace soon this beautiful species will extinct.
The roar of tiger in forest would also be matter of past.
Ho we would feel at that time? Have we thought about it for a while? Those stories would remain in books only when this cat used to be hunted by royals and our masters for the fun. There are books and many old royalties have number of books in their libraries on Tiger hunting. I know one such house i.e. Manakaur House as it has a good collection of yester years on hunting. Some time back an attempt was made by few friends from West Germany to buy the rights for doing some re-processing of the data but deal did not come through. Kr. Anand Singh ji did not yield. I think keeping those lovely books and not permitting general masses to know about lure of forest and jungle life will not be good idea at all. I hope Raja Saheb will do well to let it come out of his private library. He him self is a tremendous nature lover and great admirer of jungles will do honors when out tigers are endangers species.
I appeal to all concerned to help the cause of relocating our tigers from their unsafe heavens to the places where these cats feel safe have some stuff to eat and live on.

In the lighter vain, I would also urge Thackerays to do some thing since in Maharashtra it self there are three sanctuaries where Save Tiger project is not doing well. These are Melghat, Pench and Tadoba-Andhari. If tiger will finally sleep here then no roar would be there in Maharashtra too. It’s time for Sr. Thackeray Bala Saheb and also the Jr. Ones both Udahv and Raj to awaken from their sleep. When you would loose your so called face ‘Tiger’ to this casualty? Marathi manoos is not the only thing which is to be talked about there are issues other then that needs every one’s attention.
I hope no one will take me wrong. After all I speak in favor of ‘Save Our Tiger” project only.
