Here's another ridiculous fatwa, if you can call it that, from the same Saudi idiot cleric Sheikh Youssef al-Ahmad who issued a death fatwa against anyone who promotes the mingling of the sexes, because I suppose it says in the Quran that unmarried men and women can't simply be friends. And people have no self control. And all people think about is sex, so placing men and women together, even though the women in Saudi Arabia are covered from head to toe in swaths of black cloth, somehow the man is going to be attracted to this ninja-type woman and lust after her.
And segregating the sexes is so important to this fool, that he actually wants to demolish the Holy Mosque of Mecca to make sure men and women remain separated.
Sheikh Youssef al-Ahmad told the Saudi-based Bedaya satellite television channel Wednesday that the mosque should be demolished and replaced with a new one featuring "10, 20 or 30" floors.The floors would then be divided between men and women, al-Ahmad said in video footage posted on the Internet.
The existing Holy Mosque has three floors and is the largest mosque in the world. It is built around the Kaaba, the most sacred place in Islam.
That's right, the most sacred, ancient Islamic site, should be done away with, because of the ridiculous idea that men and woman should not fraternize. That's more important then maintaining a magnificent, ancient, historical site that was built centuries ago. Then again, I shouldn't be surprised, since they seem to have little appreciation for anything of historical value. The Taliban blew up the ancient Buddhist statues in Afghanistan, without one iota of remorse.
And he's not the only idiot in Saudi Arabia. I wrote about Shaikh Abdul-Rahman's equally odious fatwa calling for death to anyone promoting the mingling of sexes in schools. The separation of sexes in Islam and ultra orthodox Judaism and Christianity is nothing more than misogynism. They must truly hate the fairer sex to want to make sure they remain hidden under tents of cloth and as far aways as possible from their menfolk. .
