Sarah Palin's Empty Rhetoric

When will people tire of her?

Sarah Palin has not had anything new to say for months. Whatever one may thought of her past comments, at least they were original. But the Republican darling has not had anything original to say for months. Palin just keeps on recycling her old Talking Points, because she views this as a winning strategy. And for some reasons continuing to her the same things does not bore people.

And one of Palin's critics of President Obama is that he is too weak a leader on the international stage. Palin has been repeating this same gambit for months now - that Obama bows down, apologizes for America and fails to defend America's interests and our allies - without ever offering anything constructive. Palin knows only how to tear down. She chastises Obama but without ever offering any idea as to how she would act.

She recently condemned Obama for supposedly not standing up to Russia and China. It is not clear what Palin means by this since the U.S. is not in any intense conflict with either nation and in the case of Russia Obama's rapprochement has lead the Russians to greatly value American friendship to the point of constantly belaboring the point this last week that a recent F.B.I. arrest of Russian spies should not undercut the new found cooperative relationship. But whatever Palins means by 'not standing up' beyond her silly reduction of foreign policy to playground tactics, it is hilarious that she would criticize Obama for his international dealings.

I mean, can you imagine Palin speaking to Putin or China's leaders? Can you imagine how those meetings would go? Do you trust this woman to be informed, capable and competent enough to defend American interests in front of a gathering of world leaders under intense foreign, domestic and media pressure? Palin, let's remember, resigned the governorship of an incredibly easy, oil rich state to run, Alaska, because she complained that the media and the state legislator were being too tough. She can't handle Juneau and yet thinks herself skilled enough to be constantly attacking Obama.

How would Palin exactly stand up to Russia? Or China? This is so obnoxious because a Palin on the world stage would be hilarious and yet she speaks as if Obama is the stupid one and that if she were handling things she would be so much better for the nation. All she knows is to critique. If she were in his place, Palin would be a laughing stock constantly feeling beat down and fretting about how difficult everything is. She's already a laughing stock!

This is idiocy on steroids! What empty rhetoric!! What a joke!!!

When will she depart?!!!
