Russian Tourist To Fly Home
The Russian tourists who were unfortunately trapped in Sharm el-Sheikh will be allowed to fly home, after a 24 hour delay due to a plane breakdown. Russian passengers are expected to fly home on Saturday evening, according to a report by Itar-Tass

According to local information, airport officials had expected a plane to arrive from Russia at 18:00 local time (20:00 Moscow time), which was supposed to pick up the Russian visitors before arriving back to Moscow at around 20:00 local time (22:00 Moscow time).
While the plane did take off, leaving Sharm el-Sheikh with almost 190 passengers on board, it had to return to the airport at Sharm el-Sheikh due to a faulty undercarriage.
Passengers were accomodated with food and hotel board, however were asked to leave the hotel in the morning as this was the limit of the stay paid for.
Tourist company Mostravel had assured passengers the plane would be repaired and would return to pick them up, however later that day they were told the plane would need more maintenance.
Passengers are no doubt relieved at the opportunity to finally complete their Sharm El Sheikh holiday and return to Moscow.
