Robber's Who Killed A Man While His Mom Listened On Her Cellphone- Proud To Have "Hurt" A "White Boy"
Racism, although often presumed to be a major flaw of Caucasians, is just as prevalent among other races. The fact that it still exists today is a testament to how far we have yet to go before we are evolved enough to embrace the phrase 'the brotherhood of man'. It saddens me that many crimes are still motivated by race.

Yesterday, I came across an article about some white racist South African students who had gone to trial for having violated the dignity of four Black employees at their university. Today, I read an article about a young man who was robbed and killed in Baltimore by John Wagner and Lavelva Merritt. These two reprobates were out trawling the streets on Sunday night looking for a victim. According to police, they were "hunting to rob someone".
They found that "someone" at about 11:30 p.m. 23-year-old Stephen Pitcairn was talking to his mother on his cellphone when he was accosted by Merritt and Wagner, and in spite of the fact that he did whatever they asked of him, they viciously stabbed him in the chest. Heartbreaking for his mother was the fact that she heard the whole thing, heard his pleas for mercy while he was being attacked. This young man who was a researcher at John's Hopkins University who had hopes of curing breast cancer, murdered by two career criminals who went home and proudly bragged to witnesses about having robbed and "hurt" a "white boy,"
Pitcairn's iPhone and wallet were found in the couples home when it was raided by police on Monday, along with bloody shoes and blood at the entrance.
After being taken in for questioning, Merritt and Wagner gave statements that were "completely contradictory to one another," police say.Wagner, 34, and Merritt, 24, are expected to be arraigned this morning on murder, robbery and assault charges, according to the court records.
It's bad enough to rob and hurt anyone, but to be proud that it was a person of another race clearly qualifies you as a racist. When are we going to stop looking at the color of a person's skin and look at what kind of person they are. Wagner and Merritt were obviously trash, regardless of their skin color. Pitcairn, who just might have been the one to discover the cure for breast cancer, did not deserve to die.
