A cover model for European Vogue has fallen to her death from her Manhattan apartment building in an apparent suicide.

The New York Post and Newsday say 20-year-old Ruslana Korushnova died Saturday afternoon in the Financial District. The newspapers cited unnamed officials and police.

Police say the fall is under investigation.

The British edition of Vogue hailed Korushnova as “a face to be excited about” in 2003.

The telephone rang unanswered at Korushnova’s New York agency Saturday evening. A spokeswoman for medical examiners has not immediately returned a telephone call.
